Sole Stop is a nonprofit organization in the San Francisco Bay Area that provides free shoes to the homeless population. Sole Stop delivers donated shoes in a customized van to underserved neighborhoods. We regularly partner with pop-up villages providing services to homeless individuals and hold community events. We deliver shoes with diginity.
WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
Roughly 28,200 people were homeless in the Bay Area according to a 2017 census, about 7,000 to 8,000 in San Francisco proper. Across the board, reports have indicated that the most commonly requested items by our neighbors without homes are shoes and socks. Through individual and corporate donations, Sole Stop delivers shoes with dignity to those in need. We believe we can provide shoes to everyone who needs them with enough support from people like you.
STEP INTO Action
We are looking for GENTLY used shoes; we can pick them up, and we will make sure they get to someone who truly appreciates and needs them. If you don't have shoes to donate, there are many other ways you can contribute!
